This section is dedicated to all the cats that have graced the life of author Rosemary Augustine.  There were many… starting with Snowball when Rosemary was just a little girl.  She still has the scar above her right eye where Snowball dug her claw.  Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the real Snowball only a Snowball-look-alike … The real Snowball was a beautiful short-haired, snow white female cat with gorgeous blue eyes.

Big Grey is a stray that showed up at the author’s door in the middle of a summer night in 2021, that prompted much patience with Oscar and Buttercup’s hissing, growling, howling and marking.  However, those few nights of Big Grey showing up provided a creative outlet and an imagination run wild that ended up being the book The Secret Staircase.  There is only a picture of a “Big Grey look alike” that  appears in the book.
